I had originally ordered the D5S, but I over looked this in the description "For vehicle-specific compatibility, send us your vehicle information to check the compatibility before purchase" therefore I bought this unit and the Transmission Relearn does not work with my particular vehicle. No problem though, because the Customer Service has been AMAZING. I needed the xTool X100PADS, so I returned the D5S unit and purchased the X100PADS. A mechanic was going to charge me $389 to do a Transmission Relearn, so I was still happy to pay the extra money for the X100PADS!!!
I received the X100PADS and was quickly and easily able to do the needed "Reset Transmission Adapts" function.

As the title says this was quite the surprise. Haven’t had the tool for long, but it really does cover a lot of points of data as well as some stuff you probably shouldn’t mess with unless you’re experienced. While it may seem like overkill, I still believe this to be a solid investment.
The X100pads scanner has met my DIY expectations for a scanner. Customer service has been promt and helpful.
