Great scantool and key programmer for the price. Already invaluable
As a regular Xtool user, I picked up the X100MAX for a reliable and affordable portable diagnostic tool and key programmer. Right out of the box, I powered it up, connected it to Wi-Fi, and did a full updateall in about 30 minutes. Once rebooted, it was ready to go. The interface is super intuitive, and the instructions are clear and easy to follow.
I put it to the test by programming new immobilizer keys on a 2005 Honda Accord and a 2009 Ford Escape. Both worked like a charm, with detailed on-screen guidance that was easy to navigate. I even reached out to customer support with a question about programming a user code on the Ford (something Id done before with an XTool D8). They got back to me quickly with clear instructions.
I also used the X100MAX to reset the throttle body after cleaning it and replacing the MAF sensor. Again, it worked perfectly. Overall, this is a fantastic scanner and key programmer, and Im really pleased with my purchase!
I purchased this tool to program 3 keys for my 2007 Honda Pilot and 2012 Honda Odyssey and it worked perfectly and very quickly. I also ran a full set of diagnostics and it supplied tons of data. The people at Xtool are very helpful and friendly and want you to be happy with the product.

Very user friendly device, It has many good features and does everything compare to all other expensive scanners. It comes with lifetime software updates which allows to keep up with software issues. Customer support always on point if there is any issues running into fixing faults in your car. I just fixed my airbag light issues because it needed seat calibration and it took less than 10 seconds to fix.
It's a good tool. I added keys for 2015 Honda Civic. Quickly & accurately diagnosed camshaft sensor. The interface is easy to register, setup and navigate.
The wording used seems like it's been translated from another language into English. Mostly understandable but just a like off.
Manually input VIN numbers are cleared when I change menus. I didn't see quick options to typing again and again. Customer service showed me the history option.
I like it. but definitely, research if you need certain options or compatibility before you decide on which model.
Customer service has been outstanding. They have been responsive to emails. thorough with questions, and helpful with solutions.
